Quickstart

Add Swop to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Claude Code or Cursor, link your account, and try your first actions.

Add the connector

Paste this URL into your assistant as a custom connector:

https://mcp.swopme.co/mcp
  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Turn on Developer mode if ChatGPT asks for it.
  2. Add a custom connector. Name it Swop.
  3. Paste https://mcp.swopme.co/mcp as the server URL and choose OAuth for authentication.
  4. Connect. Sign in with Swop when a tool first needs your account.

Try something public

These need no account. Ask your assistant:

  • "Look up travis.swop.id."
  • "What does travis.swop.id sell?"
  • "What prediction markets are live for tonight's games?"

The first time you ask for something personal ("what's my balance?", "sell my ebook for $15"), the assistant opens a Sign in with Swop page. Approve it, choosing which permissions to grant. You never type a password into the chat. See Account linking & caps for what each permission allows.

Turn on AI spending, if you want it

Sending money, paying links, swapping and trading also need AI spending turned on, with caps, in the Swop app under Settings → AI assistants (or swopme.app/ai-assistants on the web). Leave it off and the assistant can still prepare a payment; you finish it in the app.

Sell something

"Sell a digital zine called Night Market for $15. Put it on my page and give me the link."

The assistant creates the product, features it on your SmartSite and returns one link. People who open it see a product page; AI agents get a USDC payment challenge they can pay on their own.

Prefer a connection that can't move money?

Use https://mcp.swopme.co/mcp/commerce instead. It has selling, SmartSite and lookup tools only; sends, payments, swaps, trading and agent control stay in the Swop app. The same sign-in works on both. See Endpoints.
