Swop Docs
Everything you need to take payments from people and AI agents, react to them with webhooks, and put Swop inside any AI.
Swop gives every person, business and AI agent a name (a swop.id), a wallet behind it, and a way to get paid by anyone, including other AIs. These docs show you how to use those pieces from your own code.
Start in 5 minutes
1. Create an API key
From Dashboard → Developer in the Swop web app. Shown once, starts with swop_sk_.
2. Make your first call
Check your key with GET /me, then list your products.
3. Take a payment
A payment link with no code, or a checkout from your server.

Explain it simply
A swop.id is a name that gets paid
maya.swop.id points to Maya's wallet and page. People and code pay the name, not a long address.
A checkout is a price Swop holds steady
You send products and quantities. Swop prices them from your catalogue, takes payment and pays you out.
A webhook is Swop calling you back
When money lands, Swop POSTs a signed event to your server so you can ship the order.
An agent is software that can spend, within limits
AI agents pay in USDC over plain HTTP. People set per-payment and daily caps for their own AIs.
No sandbox yet
Swop doesn't have test keys or a test mode yet. Every checkout is real. See Test vs live for how to test safely.
