Swop MCP overview
A remote MCP server that lets any AI assistant look people up, sell, pay, trade and run your AI agent on Swop, inside caps you set.
The Swop MCP turns Swop into something any AI assistant can use. Add one URL to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Cursor or your own agent, and the assistant can look people up by swop.id, create products and checkout links, edit a SmartSite, check balances, send money, trade and manage the user's AI trading agent. Everything that touches money is previewed, waits for the user's explicit yes, and stays inside the limits they set in the Swop app.

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to outside tools. A server publishes a list of tools (named actions with typed inputs); an assistant reads the list, decides which tool fits what the user asked, and calls it. You don't write prompts or plugins per assistant: one MCP server works in every client that supports MCP.
Ovi and the MCP
Ovi is Swop's own AI. The MCP lets every other AI use Swop. Both run on the same Swop tool layer, so an action looks and behaves the same whichever AI starts it.
