Ovi overview
Ovi is Swop's AI agent. It proposes trades, payments and posts using the Swop tool layer, and nothing that adds risk happens without the owner's yes.
Ovi is the AI inside Swop. Ask it in plain words to watch a market, run a trading strategy, look something up or help in a group chat, and it works through the same Swop tools that power the Swop MCP. It acts from its owner's wallet only inside limits they set, and anything that adds risk or moves money waits for their approval.
Ovi, the trading agent and Goldman
Ovi is the new name for Swop's AI. The private trading agent was previously called Goldman, and some API fields and tool descriptions still use that name. In these docs, "your agent" means your private Ovi trading agent.

How Ovi decides and acts
- You set the rules. Autonomy (propose only, or trade without asking within limits), which venues it may use, daily loss caps, leverage and other limits, and a playbook: markdown files describing your strategy and risk rules.
- It works on a loop. A running strategy reads markets and its playbook, and decides whether to act.
- Risk waits for you. In proposal mode every trade is a proposal you approve or reject. Changes that add risk (starting a strategy, raising caps, enabling a venue, going fully autonomous, copying another trader) always come back as a preview first, whichever mode you're in.
- Everything is recorded. Trades, proposals and changes appear in the agent's activity and your wallet history.

There's no separate Ovi API yet. Today you work with Ovi through the Swop MCP's agent-control tools, with OAuth scopes agent.read and agent.write:
