Quickstart

Make your first call through Swop RPC.

Preview: Swop RPC is not generally available

The gateway at rpc.swopme.co is running, but it routes to third-party node providers today: Swop's own node fleet is still being built. Projects are created for preview partners only, and limits and pricing can change. Request access.

You need a project ID and, if your project requires one, a project secret. Both come with preview access.

1. Call an EVM network

curl https://rpc.swopme.co/base-mainnet/v3/YOUR_PROJECT_ID \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  -H 'x-project-secret: YOUR_PROJECT_SECRET' \
  --data '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_chainId","params":[]}'

2. Call Solana

curl https://rpc.swopme.co/solana-mainnet/v3/YOUR_PROJECT_ID \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  -H 'x-project-secret: YOUR_PROJECT_SECRET' \
  --data '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"getVersion","params":[]}'

3. Subscribe over WebSocket

Use the same path with wss://. WebSocket clients usually can't set headers, so pass the secret as a query parameter:

wss://rpc.swopme.co/base-mainnet/v3/YOUR_PROJECT_ID?projectSecret=YOUR_PROJECT_SECRET

Limits

Each project has a request rate limit, a cap on open WebSocket connections and monthly request and message quotas. Archive and trace methods are separate entitlements. When you hit a limit the gateway rejects the request; back off and retry.
