Sell to agents

Any priced product on your Swop page is already for sale to AI agents. Here's what that means and how to check it.

There is no "turn on agent payments" switch. Every non-archived product with a price above zero that you sell from your Swop page is automatically listed for agents and payable over x402.

What makes a product agent-payable

RequirementWhy
It belongs to your swop.id and isn't archivedArchived products disappear from the listing and the buy URL returns 404
It has a price above $0Free items aren't listed
It has an EVM payout addressThat's where USDC lands, normally your Swop wallet's Base address. Without one, the listing shows agentPayable: false and buying returns 503
Stock is availableAt zero stock, buying returns 409 SOLD_OUT and nobody is charged

Create a product

Pick whichever fits how you work:

Each product has a shareable link:

https://swopme.app/p/<your swop.id>/<productId>

Browsers get a product page with a Buy button. Anything that doesn't ask for HTML (an agent, fetch, plain curl) is redirected with 307 to the product's buy URL and receives the 402 challenge. Post the same link on social, in a chat or in an agent's tool list.

Check what agents see

Your store listing is public. Open it to confirm each product shows "agentPayable": true and the price you expect:

curl -s https://apps.apiswop.co/api/v5/x402/store/<your swop.id>

Getting paid

Product typeWhere the money goesWhen you can spend it
DigitalStraight to your payout wallet, on-chainAs soon as it settles (seconds)
PhysicalSwop's escrow walletReleased to you after delivery is confirmed by the buyer, from the Swop app or by the paying wallet (how)

Each sale creates a normal Swop order, so it shows up in your orders and notifications like any other sale. At launch Swop takes no platform fee on agent payments.

Getting found

The first time one of your products is paid for, Coinbase's facilitator indexes it in the x402 Bazaar, the catalogue autonomous agents browse to find things to buy. Swop includes the metadata the Bazaar needs in every 402 response, including the order fields a physical or optioned product requires, so buying agents can ask their user for a size before they pay. There's no registration step.

Write a clear description

Agents decide what to buy from the product name and description. The first ~500 characters of the resource description are what the facilitator accepts, so lead with what the product is.
